Step 3: Consider how the issues raised in this theme may be linked to current curriculum frameworks. In particular, reflect on the way that you currently explore values related to identity and cultural diversity in your own classroom. If you are not already aware of these key values, take a moment or two to read them. A copy of the Values Framework is available by clicking here. Many teachers in our study suggested that they implicitly engage with these values, while others explicitly encourage students to explore them in both curricular and extra-curricular settings. To what extent do you explore these values in your own classroom?
